This year, the Auction will take once again take place in the Simpson Hall which is the multi-purpose sports hall.

Entry to the Auction is by catalogue only. These will be for sale at the door for R.... but you may pre book your catalogue by contacting us via e mail. This will not only ensure that your catalogue will be waiting for you but also helps us to print the right number of catalogues. We are expecting a bumper turn out so pre booking is recommended.
Should you wish to bid, you will be given a bidding paddle with a number and you will fill in a form with your details. At the end of the Auction you will be given an invoice for the total amount owing. Payment must be made on the day of the sale. No lot is to be removed from the salesroom unless paid for. Postal bids may be made.
For conditions of sale please view this page, but please note there are no facilities for accepting payment by credit cards. Cash and cheques are welcome and there is an ATM at the garage just down the road!
As we did last year, there will be a Power Point presentation going on during the auction so you will be able to see the item that is up for sale clearly displayed behind the auctioneer. We hope this will alleviate the frustration of not being able to see tiny items.
After the auction, boxes for keeping bought items safe will be available for you as well as some packaging materials for transporting your items home.
During the Auction there will be free wine, donated by L'Ormarins. Snacks and tea and coffee will be on sale during the auction.
After the Auction the picnic lunches will be available for collection from the back stoep of the main building which is Cloetenburg. These may be pre-booked by contacting us before the 16 March. The school has beautiful lawns and old oak trees which make a perfect setting for a picnic lunch. There are also picnic-type tables available in the grounds but plan to bring your own blanket and chairs if you wish.
Once the Auction is finished the sales tables will be opened in Cloetenburg, the main building of the school. This gives you an opportunity for some retail therapy in case you did not spend all your money at the Auction! Please note that items submitted for the auction will NOT be duplicated at the Fair tables.
If you wish to book a sales table, contact us before the Auction.
